175 Argyle Street - BEACONSFIELD VILLAGE, TORONTO

This is a great house.

The house itself is nice but a lot of it has to do with the decor. It all works so well together, this house has apparently been featured in House and Home (missed that), the National Post (missed that too), Designlines (again didn’t see it), and it was the House of the Week in Toronto Life in July (also missed that and can’t find it).

So, it’s possible that everyone has already seen this house a bunch of times. But as I haven’t seen it but really like the fact that this isn’t another one of the uninspiring flips that seem to be popping up recently, I thought I would post it.

It is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 25 x 100 foot lot that was designed by Levitt Goodman.

It flows well, it’s bright, the kitchen is a good size, and there is a plunge pool. The armour sink on the wall hiding the open shower on the right and an enclosed toiled on the right in the primary bedroom is interesting.

In 2006, the house looked like this…

It was listed at $444,000 and sold for $326,000. In June, it came on the market for $2,888,000 with a price drop to $2,747,000. It didn’t sell and it is now back on the market as of 2 weeks ago…

For $2,599,000.

Unfortunately, the house does not come with the dog…
