FOR LEASE - 204 Balmoral Avenue - SOUTH HILL

This house that I posted back in December was on the market for a LONG time.  It was initially listed at $4,995,000 then they raised it to $4,998,000.

It was then the Globe and Mail Home of the Week 2 weeks later.

It had been featured in the April 2011 issue of Canadian House and Home.  

The pictures were taken by Virginia Macdonald and the designer was Anne Hepfer.

I thought it was pricey but considering the house, the lot and the interior that it couldn't really be priced much less.  But it never sold.

In April, they dropped the price to $4,680,000.

I am pretty certain it didn't sell at all because it was on the market for a while after that as well.

Now, it is listed for lease!  It's only a short term lease of a maximum of 9 months.  And the monthly payment is $12,500.

That is only $1,500 more than the semi at 405 Brunswick that also never sold.

Which would you choose?
