This house is going over.
Sure, it needs some work, like new floors on the first and second floor, a new bathroom upstairs, and a new kitchen....
But this place could be amazing.
Imagine this kitchen in here (but maybe with doors at the back)...
I love this kitchen. I even like the vent which and, for some reason, vents drive me crazy. I even like it even though I would repeatedly hit my head on it.
With some herring bone white oak floors....
The fireplace in the living room isn't pretty right now but it looks like it works...
The bedrooms are an okay size but might not have a ton of storage.
But the bathroom is a good size.
The basement could be fixed up a little but is fine as it is.
The backyard is done but the house doesn't come with the hot tub (for me, that's a good thing).
This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 15.33 x 115 foot lot that has a TON of potential.
It is listed at $729,000.
It is across the street from the house at 217 Bain that sold for $900,000 last year. This house, with work, could be as good or better than that house.
And it has parking for 2 cars! And new windows!
What is the catch? Or are they just pricing for a bidding war.
Assuming all is good with this house, I think it could go close to $850,000....maybe even $865,000. With $100,000 into it (maybe a bit more), this could easily be a million dollar house
....if they do it right.
