I am not sure how to describe this house. Elegant? Maybe handsome?
Not sure what to call it but I really like it. A lot.
The only thing I am not crazy about is that it is a corner lot. But it is basically what I envisioned 31 Dundurn Road in Lawrence Park could look like (with a LOT of work).
This house is 5+1 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms on a 40 x 141 foot lot with a 2 car garage and 4 more parking spots.
The inside isn't my style though I kind of love this couch fabric (not the chairs, just the couch)...
But this house could EASILY be updated with some paint.
Perhaps black where the white is and white where the colour is.....something like this....
Or this (I know it's not the same kind of door but you get the idea)....
With black bookshelves like this...
Or maybe I am alone on loving black interiors.
The kitchen is more than livable but could be updated. If you really wanted, you could open up the family room into the kitchen and make a 2 sided fireplace. There is something pretty nice about a fireplace in a kitchen....
Or leave the walls up and update the kitchen like this...

And the bathrooms are tired.
Otherwise, this house is great.
I think it will probably stay traditional though it could be amazing fixed up as well, with a lot of black....or go all white with a bit of black sort of like the house at 2 Castle Frank Road.
This house is listed at $2,995,000.
If this wasn't a corner lot, I would say this is selling fast at that price. But it is a corner lot.
And considering that the house at 210 Inglewood Drive that was probably in similar shape and was a similar size but had a south facing lot sold for $2,500,000...
I don't think this will sell for ask. Maybe around $2,750,000.
Even with the baseboard heating.
