It was listed at $2,500,000 and sold for asking.
Considering that this house at 334 Inglewood down the street sold for $2,350,000 and it has 4+1 bedrooms, unlike the 6+2 bedrooms(!) of this house, and is on a smaller corner lot compared to this wide south facing lot, I think the price is fair. A lot of money! But fair considering the selling prices in the neighbourhood at this given time and this is 6 bedrooms!! Plus 2!
This house might need a bit of work though. I think whoever bought it will end up doing A LOT of work. They bought it fast. They must have been looking for something in particular to reno. Just my guess. I love the old school linen cupboards. I hope they keep those!
Makes me wonder, why hasn't this place at 197 Rosedale Heights around the corner sold? Too much asking price even for a ravine lot!?! Or too close to the train? Maybe it's more of a $2,250,000 house.
