MASH House with Potential Featured on HGTV!!!

Does this house look familiar?

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you would recognize this house.  

You would also know that Sarah Richardson was doing casting in January for a new HGTV show called Real Potential.

And guess what!

This is the house that was the feature on tonight's episode.

I first posted this house in Dovercourt Park in April 2012.  It was listed at $899,000.

It was on the market for ages and the price went all over the place.

But in March 2013, it finally sold.

As I mentioned in that post....

'It seems there were more issues with it than at first glance, or it was just one of those listings.

This house has finally sold...

For $721,000.

WHO bought it!?!  

A developer, a flipper, or a private owner!?!'

Turns out Andrea and Wayne bought it!!!

And there were issues...like BIG support issues in the basement.

Though they said on Real Potential that it cost $5,000 to fix, my guess is that it cost a LOT more than that to fix!!!

And though the transformation is great....I have to admit, that island.  This house was big enough to have a family sitting room area and a big island for cooking and entertaining too.  

Why all island!?!  

I know Wayne is into cooking, but does he bake and roll out dough too?  Too much island for me, with not enough family room space.

Love the brass though!
