AND IT WENT FOR - 137 Galley Avenue - RONCESVALLES

Last week, I posted this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom (I swear the listing said 4 at one point though I only ever counted 2) on a 20 x 128 foot lot at 137 Galley Avenue in Roncesvalles.

It was a move right in house though the kitchen could use some work.  And unlike the neighbour at 139 Galley Avenue that sold $1,145,000 the day after this place was listed, this place didn't have a finished basement.

This house was listed at $899,000.

I thought this house would sell fast, and based on the money it would need to fix it up like the neighbour (or better), this place would sell closer to $935,000.

It sold...

For $936,000.

So....as I asked in my post about the row house at 114 Victor Avenue that sold for $915,000, for that budget...

Do you want to be in a Riverdale row house with a finished basement but barely a yard, or a detached house with a garage but no finished basement in Roncesvalles?
