100 Hogarth Avenue - RIVERDALE
Six days ago, a reader sent in this listing for this 4 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on an (I think) 20 foot lot.
When I first googled the address, I found the pictures below and I thought the world had gone completely nuts.
$2,195,000 for that house below!?! A house that is good, could use some work, perhaps a new futon couch in the kitchen, and perhaps a railing on that master bedroom loft...
But $2.2 million!?!?!
Then I realized that house was listed in May 2013 for 849,000.
Okay, that makes more sense.
The house now looks like the photo above.
Clearly the house has been flipped and redone. But a house on a 20 foot lot in Riverdale listed at $2.2 million!?!
After the reader sent it in, I never posted it because I was waiting for the pictures. But after 6 days and still no photos, this listing is no longer.
So, did it sell or did they realize that the price was COMPLETELY ridiculous for a house on a 20 foot lot (again, because the listing is no longer, I could be wrong on that but I am pretty sure I am not)?
I don't care what it looks like inside...
Or that it is a clear improvement from what this house looked like 2 years ago...
