AND IT WENT FOR - 97 Sherwood Avenue - SHERWOOD PARK

A week ago, I posted this 5+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 44 x 179.41 foot lot at 97 Sherwood Avenue in Sherwood Park.

I though it might have been 'The Vallonia' Sears home from the first half of the century...

But according to blogger Lara who writes all about Sears homes at her site Sears Homes of Chicagoland, this is in fact NOT a Sears home.

But is was clearly a home that someone wanted...

Or maybe it was just the lot.

This house was listed at $1,324,000.

It sold...

For $1,691,000.
