486 Runnymede Road - HIGH PARK
I like this house.
Here it is in the streetview photo without all that snow...
It's a good looking house.
Even from the side, with the fence torn down with a dumpster on the lawn while the owners hang out in the backyard...
I can't figure out what they are building here though because there is already a garage with a parking spot (or 2?)...
Inside, I think the house is just a nice.
I don't love the floors, the kitchen is kind of tiny as are the bathrooms which could use an update, but it's a good looking move-in ready house that looks well taken care of.
And it has a good basement.
I think perhaps this room could have a step added at the door....
But otherwise, it's a great house.
There is something about it that reminds me of the house 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 30 x 100 foot lot at 32 Bayfield Crescent in Playter Estates that sold for $1,865,000.
This house!?!
It is 3+1 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms on a 34 x 100 foot lot.
It's listed at $895,000.
Wait. What!?!
So, the location on Runnymede isn't awesome, and it's a corner lot that I normally don't love but kind of love it here...
But $895,000!?!
This is a $1,100,000 house.
I am going to go crazy and say maybe even $1,165,000.
