AND IT WENT FOR - 32 Bayfield Crescent - PLAYTER ESTATES

On Monday, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 30 x 100 foot lot at 32 Bayfield Crescent in Playter Estate.

It was a good house on a good lot on a great street.  Thing is, there were quirks.  Like that 'closet' bathroom, a master bedroom with no bathroom, and only one shower for 4 bedrooms.

And there was no back deck.

So, though the listing said it was renovated 'to studs', I don't think much of the second floor or basement were touched.  Just the first floor.

The asking price was $1,526,000.

Because of the second floor bathroom situation which would become frustrating very fast, I thought this house would go over but not way over.

I was wrong.

I thought this house would sell for $1,645,000.

It sold...

For $1,856,000.
