56 Binscarth Road - ROSEDALE
This is a beautiful, massive house in North Rosedale.
And I can't figure out if this is a flip or just a move because, though I can't find the listing, this house was listed a couple of years ago.
It was a duplex and, if memory serves me right, it sold for about $3,500,000.
It is now a 5+2 bedroom, 6+2 bathroom single family house on a 50 x 150 foot lot.
It's a traditional house with some modern touches, like the kitchen and the family room, and I really like it (something about it is reminding me of 18 McKenzie Avenue...wonder what's going on with that house).
This house was designed by Powell and Bonnell and Ray Murakami, the architect behind the Don Mills house at 41 Alderbrook Drive.
It is listed at $6,675,000.
That is a huge price, but I don't think this will sit for long.
If the house at 2 Castle Frank can sell for $6,600,000...
And the house at 75 South Drive can sell for $6,000,000...
I don't see why this can't sell for asking.
Maybe closer to $6,300,000, but above 6.
Then again, there is this back deck...
That could have been a little more impressive.
