AND HERE IT IS NOW/RELIST - 16 Cornish Road - MOORE PARK
Two years ago, I posted this house at 16 Cornish Road in Moore Park.
It was listed at $975,000 and sold for $1,176,100.
It needed work.
I thought that perhaps the Cornish Flippers had bought it and were going to do a reno like the house down the street at 22 Cornish Road.
I thought that with a big reno but no addition that this house could sell for $1,676,000 when done. But I thought there would be a better floor plan that this.
And now, it looks like it has been flipped (but as it has been 2 years, perhaps not!).
The first floor is fine though I think opening up the living room more would have worked well in this house. The kitchen is great but feels too big for the space.
Upstairs, I am confused. Two of the bedrooms don't have closets but there is a huge walk-in closet accessed from the hallway? So, 2 of the kids have to get dressed in the hallway!?!
Why not put the laundry up there if you are going to waste that space?
Actually, the only 'bedroom' that DOES have a closet is the family room!!!
And I don't really get the master suite with that sitting room.
This house is now listed at $1,795,000.
That's ambitious.
Considering that the house at 98 Moore Avenue that could use some updating upstairs, but was more than move right in, just sold for $1,549,000...
I'm thinking somewhere around $1,595,000. Maybe.
