In 2010, this 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom, 4,000 square foot laneway house on a 44 x 90 foot lot was a Toronto Life House of the Week.
It was the house of Elaine Cecconi (as seen in the Toronto Star article with her house in the background)...
One half of the Cecconi Simone design team....
They are also the designers behind the Serendipity offices at 9 Price Street in Summerhill (I just realized I don't know if that one sold!), the house at 11 Bannon Avenue in the Kingsway, and the studio apartment at 915 King Street West....
As well as the former owners of the Oni One retail store at 1335 Dundas Street West.
Plus, according to this Urban Toronto article, they were advisors on the new Toronto streetcar design...
The house was listed at $2,250,000.
Well...it looks like it never sold as it is on the market again.
And everything but this old dining room table (which I prefer) is the same...
It is now listed at $2,400,000.
Are people ready to pay that much for a laneway house in Little Portugal?
When people weren't willing to pay $1,999,000 for the similar sized coach house at 80R Crescent Road in Rosedale (Wait! did that one sell too!?!)?
I don't know. If you are into white and clean, this is amazing.But $2.4? I think that will be hard.
The fact that is located right behind a bunch of restaurants on Dundas isn't going to help either...
