PRICE DROP #2 - 47 Bennington Heights Drive - BENNINGTON HEIGHTS
In October, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 50 x 103 foot lot at 47 Bennington Heights Drive in Bennington Heights.
It was a flip of a house that used to look like this...
And I liked what they did.
On the inside though, there were some quirks like the huge front foyer/room area...
That I could only see getting filled up with hockey bags despite there being a mudroom right beside it.
And the kitchen windows. I didn't understand all the little windows and the 2 sliding doors...
Though it would have been more expensive, I would have much preferred a huge wall of windows at the back (but maybe it was because there doesn't seem to be much backyard).
Unlike most readers, I really liked the black kitchen, I just didn't love the faucets.
The house was listed at $3,250,000.
It didn't sell and the price was dropped a couple of weeks later to $2,996,000.
It still didn't sell and the price was just dropped again...
To $2,895,000.
Even though I don't think the price is too far off, considering that the agent is also the owner (I think) and that the 2.5% fees won't factor in here...
I think the price might be a little high still.
