AND IT WENT FOR - 167 Havelock Street - DUFFERIN GROVE

In September, I posted this 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house on a 50 x 147 foot lot at 167 Havelock Street right across the park in Dufferin Grove.

It was a large house at 3280 square feet and it was on a large lot.

It reminded me of the house at 250 Rusholme Road...

That sold for $2,250,000 in May 2012.

This house just needed a lot work.  But with an update and an extension, it could be an amazing.

But it was being sold as a lot that could be severed which I found odd.

It was listed at $1,895,000.  I thought it could sell for $1,975,000 or more.

It didn't sell and the price was dropped in October to $1,820,000.

It week later, it was back on the market for $1,825,000.

It took another month, but this house finally sold...

For $1,775,000.

Hate to say it, but I think this is getting torn down.
