AND IT WENT FOR - 205 Crawford Street - TRINITY-BELLWOODS

In mid-December, I posted a Toronto Community Housing property at 201 Crawford Street.  It was a detached, 5 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 46 x 118 foot lot.

It was located 2 doors down from this house.

This house is also a Toronto Community Housing property.  It is a semi with 2 bathrooms (no indication of bedrooms) that sits on a 26 x 118 foot lot.

The listing says there is no parking, but as you can see from the photo above, someone is using the front yard as a front parking pad.  And since it backs onto Trinity-Bellwoods Park like the house at 201 Crawford Street...

There is no chance of lane parking.

But it is a large house with a good yard on a sought after street.

The house at 201 Crawford Street was listed at $1,550,000.  It sold after 2 weeks on the market for $1,925,201.

So, it wasn't a surprise that this house with an asking price of $975,000 was going to go over.

And it did.  It sold after 12 days on the market...

For $1,506,000.

Kind of sucks for the people at 203 Crawford because they are about to be surrounded by a ton of construction...

But then again....

They just saw their house price go up a several hundred thousand dollars in a matter of weeks.
