16 Mechanic Avenue - LITTLE PORTUGAL
Two years ago, I posted a house at 14 Mechanic Avenue in Little Portugal. It was the blue house to left of this house.
That house was a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom semi on a 15.50 x 76 foot lot. It listed at $475,000 and sold for $475,500.
This is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom semi on a 15.25 x 76 foot lot and it is basically the updated version of that house.
And it's fine...it just isn't that exciting.
The living room is bright, it's opened up...
But then you get to the kitchen island...
And the basement bathroom that doesn't look like it has been touched in a long time...
The dryer in the backyard that matches the shed...
And the bags of garbage hanging off the side of the house...
So, even though this place has been renovated, it is still kind of a mess.
And at $849,900, when you could have bought the neighbour for almost $400,000 less and fully done the whole house top to bottom with a couple hundred thousand left over...
I think this might be a little high.
