SOLD - 222 Shaw Street - TRINITY-BELLWOODS
In May 2013, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom row house with 1.5 car garage and a total of 2 parking spots on a 16.58 x 121 foot lot at 222 Shaw Street in Trinity-Bellwoods.
It was a great looking house from the outside and it was just as good on the inside (and it had a basement apartment for income).
It was listed at $1,190,000. I thought it would sell fast and closer to $1,235,000.
It didn't sell and the price was dropped a week later to $1,189,000 (mmhmm).
I never heard of a sale and then 2 years later, a similar house was on the market in Seaton Village at 47 Olive Avenue...
It was listed at $899,000. It sold for $1,101,000.
Now, 3 years after being listed for the first time and a year and a half after the Seaton Village house sold...
This house was on the market again.
And it looks like it never sold because most of the furniture is the same. There are a few new things like the rug in the kitchen that I love and the living room furniture (that couch was moved to the second floor family room). But the art is the same.
This time, it was listed at $1,499,000.
And this time, it sold after 7 days on the market...
For $1,575,000.
