Two weeks ago, I posted this 4+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom house on a 19 x 85 foot lot at 19 Ottawa Street in Summerhill.
It was a flip of a house that looked like this when it was listed in April 2015 for $1,198,000...
When a reader sent it in and said it was back on the market, I was very excited to see the photos because this was a rare detached house that had a ton of potential.
And when I saw the photos, I thought...
It was a flip and it looked like a flip.
There was nothing that was really bad (other than the backsplash). In fact it was pretty good. It was just boring.
Pre-flip, it sold for $1,426,000.
Post-flip, it was back on the market for $2,490,000.
It apparently sold for approximately...
$2,490,000.
Making this a $1,000,000 increase...
