AND IT WENT FOR - 19 Ottawa Street - SUMMERHILL

Last Friday, I posted this 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom detached house on a 19 x 85 foot lot at 19 Ottawa Street in Summerhill.

It was a house that had apparently had the same owners since 1961.  So it needed a LOT of work.

But it was a rare detached house in a high demand neighbourhood.

It was listed at $1,198,000.

Becuase of the row house around the corner at 87 Summerhill Avenue...

That sold for $1,595,000 over a year ago which would make it a $1,771,000 house today...

I didn't see any reason why this house couldn't be a $2 million house after a big reno.

I thought it would sell around $1,3...maybe $1.325.

It sold...

For $1,426,000.
