PRICE DROP #2 - 441 Oriole Parkway - CHAPLIN ESTATES
In August, I posted this 6+1 bedroom, 7 bathroom house on a 50 x 124.83 foot lot at 441 Oriole Parkway in Chaplin Estates.
It was a new build that used to look like this...
At first glance, I think I preferred the 'before'.
On the inside of this new build, the second I saw this door...
It reminded me of the front door of the house at 173 Lawrence Avenue East...
And so did some of the questionable design choices like this faux brick wall...
What IS that?
This house was listed in 2010 for $1,388,000. It was torn down and replaced with this house.
The asking price for this house was $5,088,000 or you could rent it for $15,000/month.
It didn't sell or get rented and the price was dropped for the rental to $13,500/month but the asking price stayed the same.
The rental price has been dropped again and the asking price for the house as a sale has now been dropped as well. The rental price is $12,500/month...
And new asking price is $4,888,000.
That's definitely going to help.
