18 Sunnybrae Crescent - MOUNT DENNIS
A couple of days ago, a reader sent in the listing for this 3+1 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 31 x 123 foot lot at 18 Sunnybrae Crescent in Mount Dennis.
It is a flip that used to look like this...
When the reader sent in the listing, they said...
'I recognize those poufs'.
I didn't recognize the poufs right away but in my last post of a house done by this flipper (who I will now call the Pouf Flipper), I said...
Thought those poufs looked familiar...
As it turns out, this house in Mount Dennis was done by the same flipper as the person who did the house at 238 Kenilworth Avenue in the Beaches...
And the house at 108 Wineva Avenue also in the Beaches...
And not only were the poufs used in all three houses...
There was also the horse head...
The dining room table...
The art...
And this thing...
Among a bunch of other similarities that are in all the houses.
The only thing that isn't similar is the kitchen.
I'm not really sure what's going on with that kitchen...
There is something about it that reminds me of a dollhouse with that dining room wall...
Why didn't they take out that wall and put the majority of the appliances and cupboards along the outside wall (leaving room for the basement door) and then doing a peninsula island where the wall is?
And why didn't they make that dining room window a walkout door to the backyard? As it is now, you access the backyard from a side door. It's not the worst thing but it could have been better.
Otherwise, it's a good house with a possible rental apartment in the basement.
The asking price is $799,999.
I think that is a little high...but with the LRT getting closer to completion...
Who knows.
