This is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with 2 parking spaces on a 29 x 110 foot lot at 51 Melbourne Avenue in Parkdale.
It is a house that was located 2 doors down from the house that I posted in June 2014 at 47 Melbourne Avenue...
It was a beautiful, old house but it needed work. It was listed at $889,000. I can't remember exactly, but I think it sold for approximately $1.1-ish.
This house was fully renovated with lots of trendy tile and white oak floors.
It was listed in October for $1,298,000.
Like the house in my last post at 22 Crocker Avenue...
It is also now listed 'For Lease'.
The asking price for this house is $7,800/month.
Considering what this house sold for and the fact that it was just renovated, I don't think it is for lease while new renovation plans are being drawn up like the house at 131 South Drive in Rosedale was...
So it seems to have been bought just as an investment.
And I'm thinking it's not going to be the only 'For Lease' of a recently sold property that we will be seeing in the near future.
