FOR LEASE - 131 South Drive - ROSEDALE

What is going on here!?!

This house in South Rosedale on a 54.75 x 118 foot south facing lot was listed at the end of September for $1,950,000.  

It needs a LOT of work but I thought that considering that the house at 175 Crescent Road that also needs a ton of work (except for that pool which I don't get) sold for $3,075,000, this house could sell for $2,750,000.  

It sold nowhere NEAR that.  

This house sold for $2,080,000.

These buyers got a DEAL.

And now it is for lease.  For 6 months....at $4,700/month.

Like a commentor noted in another post, are they waiting on permits perhaps?

But who is going to rent this place!?!  Is all that old carpet and wallpaper still in there?

Not to mention...if you spent $2 million and hopefully are going to spend another million+ to fix this place up properly, do you really need that $28,200 (minus the commission and the time it will take to lease)!?! 

I guess every penny counts....

But still, I am confused.
