It is 5 bedrooms, 6 bathrooms and it sits on a 49.18 x 184.14 foot lot.
I could be confused with another house on this street but I am pretty sure that I remember when this was listed. And it wasn't that bad of a house. It was dark and there was a lot of green inside but just a few changes and some paint would have made it a good house.
But all that is gone and it is almost a new build inside, except it is a rebuild.
And though it seems like a flip, perhaps people have been living here...
Because I am pretty sure this is a dog....
But it could be a pillow...
Or the dog comes with the staging furniture!
I don't love what is going on with the garages and that deck with the posts below. I feel a wider staircase leading to the front door might have balanced out the house because right now, the focus is on the garages.
But to have 2 garages in Rosedale is pretty good.
I like the kitchen. The wood island and wood built-in gives it less of a new build feel. I just can't figure out where the dishwasher is.
Basically all the finishes are done really well in this house, it works for a family...
And it has 2 laundry rooms, both of which are nicer than most people's kitchens!
The price just seems kind of high....like Forest Hill high though I like this more than most of those Forest Hill new builds. I guess they are putting themselves up against 55 Glen Road around the corner that is 6 bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. That house is a lot more traditional but is listed at $7,900,000 (and has been listed for a while).
Even though this house is kind of close to Mt. Pleasant, the street is fairly quiet, and if this were my kind of budget for a house, this one would be my choice.
But considering that it is priced MORE than the 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom house at 18 Chestnut Park Road that sold for 98% of its $5,995,000 list price that had been dropped from $6,495,000...
This might be on the market for a while.
