There is something about this house that reminds me of a mix of Bewitched...
and Mad Men...
But with lighter coloured furniture.
This is a 5+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 62 x 268 foot lot.
Though I think the house could be updated and restored, it is most likely going to get torn down and replaced with something like its neighbour...
This house is listed at $2,495,000.
Though that price seems like a lot for what will most likely be a tear down, it will sell fast (IF a buyer enjoys the fact that it is on a cul-de-sac that can only be accessed from Bathurst).
It is a really large lot that backs onto a ravine. It is a great opportunity (if you like the location).
And why didn't the dishwasher halfway up the wall thing ever catch on!?! It doesn't look pretty but then you don't have to bend over to take out the dishes.
Makes sense to me!
UPDATE: commentors have been wondering what was behind those green panels. Some are thinking that is a meeting room as I did at first, kind of like the Entourage office dining room at 8 Forest Heights Boulevard....but I am pretty sure it is just a wall separating the front hall and stairs from the living space.
