27 Vesta Drive - FOREST HILL (1 Comment)
In October 2014, I posted this 5+1 bedroom, 7 bathroom house on a 38.00 x 150.75 foot lot at 27 Vesta Drive in Forest Hill.
As the person who sent in the listing pointed out, it was the home of designer Harvey Wise (whose website is finally no longer 'Under Construction').
He was the designer behind the houses at 113 Inglewood Drive...
And 34 Beechwood Avenue...
Like those houses, this was king of traditional and, if that is your thing, it's done well. And it felt like a very welcoming house.
Now? I'm not so sure that anyone other than a 2 year old boy lives here because there is no sign of anyone being here except for that kid.
In 2014, it was listed at $4,995,000. It sold for $4,700,000.
Thanks to a reader for pointing out that is is back on the market.
It is now listed at $5,980,000...
Which seems high but is a 10% increase so maybe it will sell for ask.
Except it has been on the market for a month.
