PRICE DROP - 15 Oakley Place - YORK MILLS, TORONTO (3 Comments)

Last July, I posted this 6 bedroom, 7 bathroom house on a 176.74 x 209.97 foot lot at 15 Oakley Place in York Mills, Toronto.

I had said that this was the price history…

May 2009 - $5,500,000

September 2009 - $4,995,000

March 2010 - $4,795,000

April 2011 - $5,550,000

January 2012 - $5,500,000

But apparently, it sold in 2010 for $4,600,000 but was back on the market a year later in April 2011.

When I first posted it a year later, I said it felt like it was dark and could have benefited from some colour and maybe some planters on the property with flowers.

Turns out, it was apparently purchased by (or at least designed by) Julie Charbonneau of de Poitiers Inc. in Montreal, the designer whose Montreal loft at PH #1 - 454 Rue De La Gauchetière Ouest, I posted in 2015. And it looks like she decided to redo the house apparently with the help of architect Lorne Rose and Frank Campoli and Tony Mocci of JTF Homes.

And they did a good job. I still found the house to be dark and kind of spooky but it was fully updated with a great kitchen if you were into the black.

The asking price was $14,200,000.

It never sold and the price has now been dropped to…

$12,995,000.

And now there is a video…
