80 Yorkville Avenue - #603 - YORKVILLE
Earlier this week I posted a condo for sale in Yorkville. A reader (thanks Stuart!) pointed out that this place was for sale a little under 2 years ago. It was actually a Post Home of the Week. It was listed for $999,000 then and listed at the same price when it was re-listed in the fall of 2010. Then it was featured in Toronto Life and people had mixed opinions about it.
As I mentioned, it is now listed at $924,000. And even though the building itself isn't the best, I still think it is a deal.
ESPCIALLY when you compare it to this place!!
This condo is located one street north. It is also a 2 bedroom and everything about it looks cheap.
And for $1,199,000 you don't want cheap. (It was originally listed at $1,250,000!!!)
There isn't even enough room in the kitchen for all the groceries. The current owner needed to buy a storage unit that they keep in the 'den' to store their cereal and pasta!
And is that a hot plate built into the counter!?!
There is waaaay too much island happening for the size of this place. Those bathrooms are awful and the view is north and east facing. I prefer the south west view of the other place.
And the other place is $275,000 CHEAPER.
If I was looking for a condo in that neighbourhood, I would walk right in and out of this place and snatch up the Cumberland place, crappy building or not.
