16 Inglewood Drive - MOORE PARK
I am confused by the price of this house. Sure it is a detached, recently-ish renovated (not really considering it was done in 2004) house in Moore Park but it is basically a 2+1 bedroom house though it is listed as a 3+1 house.
Even with 3 bedrooms, this house isn't worth $1,749,000.
Perhaps that is why it has been on the market for 3 weeks.
Or perhaps it is the blue kitchen. I can't imagine there are a lot of buyers looking for a blue kitchen.
And there is that green 'bedroom' that is basically a glorified closet.
Or it's the basement that has no use other than a garage.
Or the pea gravel surrounding a patch of fake grass in the backyard, a backyard that overlooks a cemetery.
I think they did a good job with the family room off the kitchen and dining room, the bathrooms are done well, and the deck is a good size. Not too big, not too small. And the decor is nice, especially that blanket in the second bedroom.
I am not crazy about the floor colour but it would probably be less red and more caramel in real life.
This is mostly a family neighbourhood. The bedroom situation isn't going to fly for a lot of people and neither is the pea gravel.
Not sure why it is priced so high but I think they should take an offer if they get one closer to $1,599,000 (or less!).
PS. Why did they leave that terrible fireplace on the second floor? It wasn't nice before. If it was retiled, that whole wall would be great. And the front, I appreciate attempting to keep a bit of the original facade but the top 2 floors wreck it.
As I said, I am kind of confused...
