128 Baldwin Street - GRANGE PARK
This house is clearly a flip and considering that it used to look like this...
they have done a good job. Just looking at that porch makes you wonder what it looked like inside!!
As for the flip, I don't love the white basement door. You can still see it from the street and I just don't like white doors. The inside has exposed brick which I am not crazy about but some people are and I am not loving the paint colours.
But the rest of the flip was done well.
Clearly a larger dining room table can't really fit in this house, but with 5 bedrooms, you might need more seats! Perhaps if the living room was rearranged, a larger table could fit.
I am not sure what the closet situation is but it doesn't look great. If you don't need 5 bedrooms (there aren't a lot of people who do), you can always make one a dressing room and still have 4 bedrooms!
The basement could be a rental (it is roughed in for a kitchen) or used as a mudroom and playroom.
But steps to Spadina (and is there a backyard), is this a family house? I am not sure. Grange Park/Chinatown is picking up though!
I think the price of $850,00 might be a little high considering the proximity to Spadina (just a little TOO close). But it is steps to great restaurants just down the street and one of the most bustling intersections in Toronto. A plus for a lot of young families and professionals!
It is a good condo alternative.
My guess is this will sell for asking. Perhaps $875,000.
PS. Love the fact that these agents do Twitter pages for their listings!
