Though the pictures aren't great, this detached 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on a 21 x 122 lot in Roncesvalles seems like a good deal.
I can't imagine why this place wouldn't sell fast at the asking price of $899,000.
At first, it seems a little high considering that the kitchen could probably be redone. It looks fine, just old with that tile countertop. There are no pictures of the bathrooms but if they are anything like the kitchen, they probably need to be done too. There is laundry on the second floor which means the 3rd bedroom is up on the third floor but the third floor is large and bright and could be a great family room/guest room.
I love the fireplace in the living room and I even like the colour but I am not into the colour of the rest of the house. It all seems very yellow but that could be the pictures.
The listing says there is upgraded electrical, water line, and windows. There is central vac, a 2 car garage.
All you need is some paint, maybe a new kitchen and bathrooms if you want...
This designer at the Marion House Book blog did her kitchen in a house located just a few streets south with a $30,000 budget (then again she is a designer and was probably able to get discounts)!
This house could be amazing!
Considering that this house at 93 Pearson sold for $986,000 and it is a semi or this duplex around the corner at 258 Sorauren sold for $875,000, I can't imagine that this house will stay on the market for long.
I really wish there were better pictures.
