This place is definitely rough around the edges but it is also amazing. And for that price!?!
It has exposed brick which I am not crazy about but it looks okay here. I would prefer no brick though. The kitchen isn't huge but more storage space could be made with a bar/pantry/counter breakfast area in the current breakfast area. Or just leave it as it is...
The second floor has a washroom that could use updating but all you need is something like this IKEA sink for $500...
The carpet on the 3rd floor is nasty but that could be replaced and I am guessing that bathroom is a little run down because there is baseboard heating and the listing has no pictures. Again...IKEA.
The backyard is large and done. There is a parking spot (though the listing says there is no parking)....
There is no WAY this will not go over. If I lived in this neighbourhood and was looking for something bigger, I would check out this place in a SECOND. Sooooo much potential for a long term house. Unfortunately, it will probably sell for closer to $1,000,000, if not more (this detached with the messed up kitchen sold for $1,150,000).
