And it went for....
So, this house at 445 Delaware in Dovercourt Park was initially listed at $450,000.
Clearly they were looking for a bidding war and they got one.
They received 9 offers....
and turned them all down.
They then re-listed it at $730,000.
One commenter said it was 'a law about false advertising or something' that they either had to then take the house off the market or re-list it at a price higher than the highest bid. (I have no idea if this is true or not.)
So it sold. And what did it sell for, you ask?
$601,100.
My guess is that this is less than the highest bid of the first NINE bids that they got.
This is what I think about this whole listing fiasco.
