This is a really cute house in Riverdale.
It is 3+1 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and has a detached 2 car garage (that might need a little work) on a 17 x 120 lot 2 blocks from Withrow Park and Riverdale Park. It is listed at $779,000. It has the white at the front which I am not crazy about but you could easily replace the siding with cedar and paint for a quick and inexpensive update. Kind of like what they did at 107A Ferrier...
The inside has a large living space with a living room and dining room at the front and a family room with a gas fireplace at the back through the kitchen.
The kitchen could use some work and so could the bathroom on the second floor. Other than that, this is a great house with a finished basement with separate entrance. Unfortunately there are no pictures of the basement.
If it looks anything like the basement at 217 Bain...
then that would be a big plus!
Speaking of 217 Bain, it was also 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was listed at $790,000. It sold for $900,000! The kitchen was done, I assume the bathroom was also done and they had great window coverings but the house was smaller. The living room of that house is what the family room of this house could look like with a bit of work...
On top of the family room, this house also has a proper living room. It is a bit tight but would work with smaller armchairs. I am kind of loving those armchairs though. They remind of this lamp...
All in all, this is a great house with a great location. A little bit of work could make this place amazing! If you are willing to do the work, this could be as great if not better than Bain and that place sold for $900,000. And it didn't have a family room!
This house could easily sell for $830,000, if not more. Once the work is done, this house could be as nice as Bain and for the same price! Plus, it has more space!
And it has a new roof! That is a big plus.
This place will go fast.
