100 Ardwold Gate - CASA LOMA
I am not sure if this house will get torn down and be replaced by a huge house like the one across the street...
But my guess is that it won't. This house has a huge front yard but no backyard and for $2,050,000, it isn't worth it.
The house itself is large with 5+1 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. It was built in 1980 and I don't think anything has been touched since then.
There is a lot of carpet in this house. The carpet in the living room is boring but I am kind of loving the blue carpet in the dining room with the white walls, white and black chairs and blue curtains. Kind of loving the orange in the basement as well.
The master bedroom looks like it came from an older house before this house was built. I actually kind of reminds me of the bedroom at 201 Vesta.
The paintings throughout the house are interesting. It's either about the ocean and sailing or cattle. And there is that Sarah Palin book in the upstairs sitting room....
This house, with a new kitchen, new bathrooms and a little less carpet could be great! If the no backyard isn't a problem or the fact that it is literally steps to Spadina and Casa Loma is okay, then this house could be amazing.
Not sure it will go for full asking though. I'm thinking more around $1,850,000. It's the no backyard thing...
