11 Peebles Avenue - BRIDAL PATH (UPDATE)
I really like this house. It's a little dated but a few changes could make this place amazing! It reminds me a bit of the house around the corner at 78 The Bridal Path that I just posted as sold.
The brick isn't really working for me in this house. Maybe painting it a dark grey like designer Arun William's house would bring it up to date.
Walking straight into the dining room is a little odd. Not loving the choice or marble in the kitchen or bathrooms but that could be changed. It is all a little too orange for me. And I don't like the tile throughout the first floor (or the walkway tile to the front door). Plus, that playset on the side against the brick wall makes this place look like a school.
But otherwise, I think this place is amazing. The windows...the walkouts...the pool and that pool house! And that basement! I know it needs to be updated but I kind of love it the way it is.
This is a 4+1 bedroom, 5 bathroom house on a 97 x 111 foot lot. It is listed at $2,780,000. It has been on the market for a month. It will probably sell for closer to $2,500,000.
UPDATE: thanks to the commentor who pointed out below that I forgot to mention the bed with the mosquito netting. Not only is it random, I actually found it a bit freaky the first time I saw it! The doll on the dresser doesn't help.
