PRICE DROP - Governor's Island - MUSKOKA (UPDATE)

A lot of people have been curious about this cottage that I posted last summer.

It has been the family cottage of Harry Hamlin for 5 generations.  

It has 7 bedrooms in 4 self contained buildings with 18.6 acres and 3,300 feet of shoreline!

Last summer when I posted it, it was listed at $4,485,000.  It is now listed at $4,175,000.

If you were in the market for a several million dollar cottage on an island, would you be more drawn to this one or the one on St. Helen's Island?

I pick this one for sure!  (And not just because it is a third of the price.)

UPDATE:  thanks to the reader who emailed in to say that the dock at this cottage was built specifically for Lisa Rinna (Harry Hamlin's wife) so that she could practice for 2009 season of Dancing with the Stars!
