RELISTED - 207 Bain Avenue - RIVERDALE

This house is a flip (though the owner says otherwise) that was listed back in July and for some reason caused some controversy among some commentors.

It's a typical flip.  The kitchen looks good but as one reader pointed out, there is basically no storage.  I guess the owners intend to keep their plates in the drawers and their food in the shallower cabinets on the opposite wall of the stove.

The bedrooms aren't huge but the bathrooms are nice.

In July, it was listed for a week at $929,900.

It didn't sell and they took it off the market.

It is now listed at $979,000.

In July, I thought they were pricing it for a bidding war.  Clearly they were.  I though it might sell for $20,000 over the initial asking.  It is now listed $30,000 more than that!

It is a good flip (though some disagree with that kitchen) but the rooms aren't big and front steps are still not great.

I am going with asking...the asking from July.

As I mentioned in my first post, they were a few months too late to take advantage of the spring Riverdale frenzy.  And I don't see it happening again, at least not in Riverdale.
