The photo below is what this 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom duplex 'condo alternative' in East Chinatown looked like 11 months ago when it was listed for $359,000 (before the price dropped to $329,000 in January).

It has now been renovated with 'finishes selected by a proven designer'.

Other than the door into the bedroom on the first floor, I like it. I am not sure I would love being on the first floor but the second floor apartment is great and the first floor could be converted to a studio, office, store or restaurant.

Speaking of East Chinatown restaurants, this place is steps to Pho House, my new favourite restaurant.

I went there for the first time today and will definitely be going back again! Many times! If you like noodles, this place is amazing and cheap!

Back to the apartment...

This isn't an ideal location right on Gerrard but it is done well. There is a fridge missing so they might be willing to knock a couple thousand off the asking price...

This place is listed at $799,000. Considering that this is zoned residential and commercial, this should be appealing to more people. But I think the price might be a little high. There is no way there was $400,000 put into this place, even $300,000.

I think this place will sell but not for asking. Probably closer to low $7s. But the location to Pho House is pretty appealing!
