And it went for....

This semi at 81 Howland Avenue in the Annex was first listed in May at $1,450,000.

I thought it had sold and that someone had scooped it up for $1,250,000.  Turns out it had actually been removed because they were INCREASING the price...

to $1,800,000!!!

I thought that was nuts and clearly it was because it didn't sell.

The price was then dropped to $1,600,000 in July but again didn't sell.  

The price was dropped again a month ago to the price it was originally listed at...$1,450,000.

It sold for $1,500,000!!!

I don't understand this.  Why is it higher than asking after being on the market since May!?!  Did 2 buyers just magically appear on the same day after 4 months?

Either way, this sold for a lot more than I thought it would regardless of the attached garage.  

But it could be a great house, just not a $2,000,000 house!
