And it went for...
After just over a year of being on the market, this 5 bedroom, 8 bathroom home at 138 Bedford Road in the Annex has sold!
I first posted it in comparison to a house a 2 Montclair Avenue which is also still on the market. Both a French chateau inspired and both have lots of bedrooms but this was the house I preferred even though I don't like the look of the front. It is a lot less severe in real life though.
This house sits on a 50 x 141 foot lot in the heart of the Annex and though it is large, it wasn't worth the initial $4,450,000. But it was still cheaper than the Montclair house!
After 7 months of not selling, they finally dropped the price in May to $3,900,000.
Again it didn't sell and they dropped the price in September to $3,850,000.
Two months later, it has finally sold......for $3,500,000.
I would say that this bodes well for all the other overpriced places in the Annex but when is Montclair going to have a price drop!?! It's is WAY overpriced.
