mishMASH Monday
This is a traditional Westmount house at 78 Av. Sunnyside overlooking the city of Montreal (well, maybe in the winter since there seem to be a few trees blocking the view).
I am mostly posting it because I love the look of the outside.
It reminds me a bit of Douglas Stocks' house at 289 Pinehurst Road in Paris, Ontario but less fancy.
I think I prefer this house from the front.
Inside, this is just as traditional. I kind of love that carpet but if it is as old as the kitchen and the bathrooms, it probably needs to go.
It is really only a 3 bedroom house with a possible maid's room on the first floor off the kitchen. There is a garage but it currently has ceramic floors as it is set up as a workshop. The basement would be great if it opened up to the backyard a bit more....
Though it needs a little work, it is beautiful.
And it is listed at $2,800,000.
