130 Morse Street - LESLIEVILLE
This 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom semi on a 15 x 129 foot lot with parking for 2 (small) cars does not have a lot of curb appeal but it is a good house.
I don't love the look of the front door from the inside. I am also a little confused about that stained glass window above it. Clearly there is a tiny foyer here but what was it before? Why is that window there?
It's hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the living room opens up to the dining room and the rest of the house. At first glance, I thought it was separate, and in a house this size, I didn' t love that.
The kitchen is clearly new and they did a good job with the reno but I would have preferred a family room at the back so that people could sit and have drinks comfortably while entertaining and cooking. And since there is a desk/office upstairs (or is that in the basement), is this desk in the kitchen necessary?
The bedrooms upstairs are a good size as is the bathroom that also looks recently renovated.
It is located across the street from the house at 131 Morse Street that was listed in May for $749,900 and sold for $871,150. That house was also 2 bedrooms but it had a finished basement with a family room and another bedroom. Plus, it was just a LOT brighter and felt a lot bigger.
This listing says the basement is a crawl space but it looks like it has the laundry and that desk down there with a separate entrance but I can't quite figure it out.
Either way, it is a move in ready house.
It is listed at $679,000.
I think this will sell for closer to the house at 87 De Grassi Street that sold for $629,000. But that house didn't have parking and the bedrooms (though there were 3) were tiny.
I think this house will sell closer to $639,000...
But if the laundry is located in the basement and only accessed by going outside, it will go for closer to $629,000.
