156 Old Forest Hill Road - NORTH FOREST HILL
This is a good looking house (if you are into yellow brick).
A reader (thanks JF) sent it in and asked how old I thought it was. I am still not sure if the question was referring to the listing or the house itself.
If we are talking about the house, I would say this is probably a 1920s house.
If we are talking listing, from what I can gather, this was first listed in October 2012....
For $2,699,000.
It is a 5 bedroom, 6 bathroom house on an 83.7 x 130 foot lot.
For that address and that many bedrooms with that sized lot!?! That sounds too good to be true.
And if you don't mind the noise coming from Bathurst which this house fronts onto or the fact that this street is busy as a great go-around during rush hour when Eglinton is jammed, that it is too good to be true.
Otherwise, it might be a little high.
It is still listed on the listing agency's website but it is no longer on MLS. So has it sold? I am not sure.
But if it did, it wasn't for asking....no matter how nice this is or the fact that the dressing room is bigger than most downtown condos.
Maybe those trees are a good sound buffer though.
Otherwise, I think this would be more of a $2,399,000 house.
