SOLD - 20A Senlac Road - LANSING
This 3+1 bedroom, 4 bathroom new build on a 80.21 x 68.27(?) foot lot in North York has been listed for a while.
It was first listed in April 2012 when the asking price was $1,689,000.
It didn't sell and became a Toronto Life House of the Week in May where they showed pictures of this prefab house being built (in just 2 days) and pointing out that it was designed by architect Ray Kappe.
And though I enjoyed the show, this might be one of the more annoying clips from Californication, but as TL pointed out, the house featured in this clip was also a Ray Kappe house (warning: profanity)...
Not quite North York, but it will do.
Even though this house on Senlac was a Kappe house, it didn't help it sell at its first asking price and the price was dropped in September to $1,498,000.
Still no luck so they dropped it again (but not by much) to $1,495,888 in October.
Again, it sat for months but it has finally sold....
For $1,525,000.
Looks like they finally found a Kappe fan!!! Or they decided to through in all the Elte carpets, Ella+Elliot kid's decor and everything else CB2/EQ3/Dwell...what else am I missing.....!?!
PS. Is it me or did they unnecessarily get rid of a lot of trees...
Or was it just too Grey Gardens?
