Love it or hate it, you have to admit this is a pretty interesting house.
I really love the natural stone stairs inside and all the light the house gets. The glossy floors are a little glossy but I really like how everything else was done.
It is a home designed by Altius Architecture Inc. Their site is worth checking out as they have done a LOT of projects.
This house at 6979 Nottawasaga 36/37 Sdrd E, Clearview was built for a local artist but could be purchased as a summer and winter home as it is located just outside of Collingwood.
There are 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms in 4,500 square feet on 40 acres of land. There is an indoor pool, a 3 car garage, an artist studio, it is built with green technology....
And it has its own pond.....
This place is pretty amazing. Only thing is that, even with 40 acres of land, theneighbour just behind the house seems really close.
It is listed at $3,990,000.
Should be interesting to see if this will need a price drop. I think it might...
But not much.
(UPDATE: thanks to the poster below for pointing out the similarity of this structure to that of the Harry Bernard Kohl designed 'T house' in Barrie that has been listed forever....inside, not so much.)
