And it went for....

Holy cr-p!!!

This house sold!

I first posted this house at 42 Westmoreland Avenue in April 2012.   It is the one with the creepy walk through...

See this content in the original post

But I liked the house and thought it had a lot of potential.  It could use some work but it was large and seemed to have a lot of potential.

When I posted it, the asking price was $899,000 though it had been listed for a month at that price.

But that wasn't the only price.  This is the pricing history for this house...

March 2012    $899,900

April 2012 $849,900

November 17, 2012 $734,900

November 22, 2012 $949,900 (?)

December, 2012 $789,900

January 23, 2013 $749,900

I missed a price drop at the end of February 2013 to $724,900.

That price was posted again on March 6, 2013.

It has obviously been a mess of a list including this listing description....

'Property Sold 'As Is' As Per Schedule 'A' - Seller's Schedules 'A' & 'B' To Be Attached To All Offers - All Measurements And Lot Size Are Approx Only- All Measurements, Taxes And Lot Sizes To Be Verified By The Buyer. Seller Has No Knowledge Of Uffi Warranty. The Vendor Makes No Representation Or Warranty In Regards To The Property. Extras:

What!?!

Whatever it meant, whatever the who knows what of an issue it was, a drive way under the house for the condo church conversions...

I don't know.

But people were split on this house.

What most people weren't split on was the price (other than the agents and the owners!).

When I posted it in April, I thought it was $100,000 overpriced.

It seems there were more issues with it than at first glance, or it was just one of those listings.

This house has finally sold...

For $721,000.

WHO bought it!?!

A developer, a flipper, or a private owner!?!
