24 Burnham Road - BENNINGTON HEIGHTS
What is on the inside of this house is not what I was expecting.
It's a new build. I was expecting an overly ornate showroom kitchen, lots of granite, bad light fixtures....basically, typical Leaside new build stuff.
But this is a REALLY nice house inside. And it isn't in Leaside, it's in Bennington Heights (which is arguably a better family neighbourhood).
Sure, it's a new build as it was built in 2005 but it is simple and comfortable. It doesn't look like it is trying to be anything but a nice, family house.
And I really like it!
The bedrooms are big, the bathrooms are good....I don't know why but there is something about it that reminds me of the house that just sold in February for $6,000,000 at 75 South Drive. That place was a LOT bigger and a lot fancier but there is just something....
Maybe it's the built-ins in the family room. Or the carpet in the family room. I really like that. And that rocking sheep reminds me of the dog lying on the floor at South Drive. Plus, the whole front of the house with the garage....
Basically, this is a really good house. It is 4+2 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms on a 40 x 115 foot lot. That isn't super deep but the lot is still a good size.
It is listed at $2,195,000.
It is move right in, it's a good size....Not a lot of done homes that make sense come up in this neighbourhood very often (except for the house at 20 Bennington Heights that sold a little higher at $2,440,000 but that was on a prime ravine lot).
This will sell fast.
Probably just under list....maybe slightly higher if there are a few buyers out there. But right around list.
